With an interesting and diverse cast of characters, the author paints a novel that is not your typical YA paranormal fantasy. Victoria, the main character, is extremely realistic and I enjoyed how well the author captured her teen angst in the midst of such a bleak tragedy. The plot is really interesting overall and although, there are a few errors and areas that could be tightened, Victoria's world is definitely one worth knowing.

I really wanted to like this, but I have a hard time with typos and grammar errors, and this needs another round of copyediting. The author has promise but I couldn't get past the technical issues. I hope to see more from her in future.
Love It! the one you barely met. The plot- Victoria herself is awesome. even Adrian the vampire and the diversity really make this story so interesting. Enjoy so much~
Remains by Belle Antoinette

Four years ago Victoria Wesley lost her parents. She is the only survivor in her family and she wants justice for her parents killers. Victoria is no ordinary teen, she is a Witch. She meets a group of Witches and a Vampire (Adrien). Soon she doesn't know who to trust, what is right and what is wrong. But she is willing to do what ever it takes, go up against the supernatural to seek the vengeance she needs.

The plot is original with Witches and Vampires and moves at a steady pace. There is a lot of action, drama, danger and supernatural events. I liked Victoria, she is a bit flawed, but what teenage girl is not? There are a lot of characters to follow, but with chapters from the past it is easy to keep up. Overall I enjoyed Remains, and highly recommend to those (Y/A & Adults) who like this genre (supernatural/witches/vampires).

Loved it! Victoria's attitude is as fiery as her magic. A good amount of action, some laughs, some tears, and a dangerous world of witches, werewolves, vampires, and a few other things I won't spoil. Worth the read!
