This is an excellent story, it shows all the peer pressure Dawn has to go through Forcing Ducky not to drive (he was drunk) them home from a concert. Standing up against the 'rebel' Sunny and not allowing her to drive back home herself (she was drunk too & plus she had no licence). And lastly, having the nerve to call her dad to pick her up when she knew she'd be dead meat. And I LOVED the ending...Dawn & Sunny sitting on the back porch together...(I won't ruin the ending). But trust me, it's worth reading, though Sunny is HEAPS better.
My Aunt Lisa gave me this book for my birthday last year because she knew I loved to read, and she also knew I liked diary books at the time. (It was a phase!)
But now I'm more into Fantasy and regular Fiction, but I still remember this book! It's really good!
I don't want to give ANYTHING away, so you'll just have to read it yourself!
I highly recommend it!

When I read this book I was mad after reading Sunny's diaries and about how Dawn treated Sunny. I used to like Dawn but not now; she has this holier than thou attitude that is more annoying than anything. She had no business making judgments about Sunny's behavior. Dawn is a girl who thinks she's "it" (NOT!) She has no business lecturing Sunny and telling her how to live her life. Dawn is far from perfect. She thinks everyone else is wrong and she's right.
I think this book was interesting and fun. The characters are cool. Ducky is fun and smart. I feel that he was drinking because of peer preasure. Sunny seems to be a little unrealistic to me. but she is dealing with her feelings differently than i would so maybe that is why she doesn't seem the best. Maggie is my favorite. she seems really real. she's got preasure on her from her dad so she's obbsessed about how she looks and her weight. Amelia is also realistic. She's down to earth and smart like my friend katy. (Hi katy)Dawn is also great. She';s spoiled, and obbsessive (like me) but i think she has presure too. Jill is the most stupid and unrealistic character. She is a little baby and just makes me want to barf. (in #13 Maggie, she's WEIRD) the book is real and if you want to read a book that's funny, sweet real and something everyone should like (unless they don't) read this book

I think that Dawn would be a happier, healtheir, and nicer person if she went into SOME SORT OF THERAPY! The thing I hate most about Dawn is that she thinks that SHE has no problems whatsoever, and that Ducky, Sunny, Maggie and Amalia have all of these problems and issues and mood swings and eating problems and boyfriend problems and so on. But she has the worst problems. Another thing about Dawn is that she never, ever writes anything really interesting. All the other CD people will write how they are fealing, why and write meaningful things about their lives. Dawn, on the other hand NEVER EVER writes down anything like that. She sometimes tries she once began to write down a daydream about her and her crush, but she never fineshed it! Once she wrote that she was feeling "lonely, tense and sad." I though that this meant Dawn was finaly waking up. But after that, well, that was it! The last thing I think is annoying about Dawn is the way she treats Ducky. She says Sunny uses him as a doormat. Then, in the meen time he is driving her around, buying her CD's, ("well", says Dawn, "it was on sale.) But in this book she was just endlessly complaining to Ducky that she did not want to sit in the same car as Sunny. Really. I hope the Dawn diaries get MUCH better.
As of this review, this book is missing a significant amount of content. The story should continue through the full experience of the Jax concert, but ends before it.
